Musical Fidelity M3si Integrated Amplifier
The M3si has 4 line-level RCA inputs plus 1 MM phono input and 1 USB Type-B asynchronous digital input (24-bit/96kHz). One switchable input supports home cinema bypass. Outputs include speaker binding posts, a fixed line output and a pre-out/variable output. THD+N <0.014% typical (20Hz–20kHz); SNR >98dB A-weighted for amplifier section. Phono stage: sensitivity 3mV nominal (suitable for 1.5mV or more including high-output MC), SNR >70dB A-weighted, RIAA/IEC ±1dB 20Hz–20kHz. The manufacturer also quotes 90 wpc and 0.007% THD at 1kHz on the design page (vs. 85W on the main spec sheet); 85W into 8Ω and 150W into 4Ω per the M3si Stream spec. USB DAC uses asynchronous transfer; no DAC chipset model disclosed. The second line output represents the pre-out suitable for a power amplifier or active subwoofer. Line input impedance 40kΩ stated in review; phono impedance 50kΩ stated in official specs.
